Bobbi Brown nail polish in VELVET

If there was ever a shade of red I wanted to be in this universe I would be this nail polish colour!!!! Its a deep blood red.....vamp much lol Yes this is the ultimate in smooth, dangerous and elegant all at the same time. The only complaint is it is such a small bottle. Bobbi brown only has a few nail polishes but I think they should make a full range because they have certainly got it! Very opaque and glossy but I still put 2 coats (habit I guess) So glossy that you can skip top coat all together. Got mine at Selfridges where is yours?

My pressed Barry m dazzle dusts!

Aha this was a fun new project of mine since I have never pressed any of my pigments or loose eyeshadows, so I thought I will start one for my barry m eyeshadow powders known as dazzle dusts. So they come loose and the shades I have so far are blue iridescent, toffee, mint green and baby blue. The blackish one is some random loose shadow from primark lol! I used the bfte cosmetics pressing kit, this is a brand that is specialising in mineral make up. The kit contained this high quality 12 empty pan palette, the hard pressed liquid, a mixing container, spatula and a pressing coin thing all in a cute pink bag for only 18 USD! Perfect for a first timer like moi haha. I added labels and a alcohol spray to complete my pressing kit. A review on this kit will be up soon so stay tuned :)

MAC mineralize eyeshadow in SEA & SKY

OMG I finally have it, I have been wanting this for the longest time and recently I got it as a birthday present from one of my mums good friend!! How super nice of her! Again MAC's mineralize products just keep getting cooler. As always their eyeshadows are brilliant but this one has some beautiful blues, silvers and purples in it. Don't forget the shimmers! But yeah the gorgeous veining of purple in the lighter blue makes it appear like clouds in the sky and the deeper blue is like the ocean...how nifty! Warning though this is a very shimmery product but to me its absolutely what I want in a blue. The ultimate night time shadow....

MAC mineralize blush in NEW VIBE

Heyy!! This blush is from the "In the groove" collection that came out this summer 2010. I got it at Macys when I was in vegas. Its that baked kind of blush type and the right side is a very very shimmery gold/peach/coppery colour and the left is a dusty pink/rose shade with some gold sparkles in it. Both work seamlessly together even though they are so so different. Its perfection!! Sometimes I like to use just the pink side then separately go over it with the gold side to give a dewy finish. For a softer look I swirl my brush in the whole brush to get a mixed effect! MAC's mineralize products are stepping it up, this is very close to my all time favourite blush by bourjois in santal!

Bobbi Brown blush/bronzer duo set

When I was in Las Vegas this summer I went into a CCO for the first time ever! If you live in the USA you know that CCO is a Cosmetics Company outlet so it sells cosmetics that are discontinued etc. So anyhow I got this duo and the bronzer is medium and the blush is called peony. Now I wanted this purely because of the peony blush, however its a little too pink for me in the summer when  my skin is darker. I was not able to wear it on holiday because I was by the pool so much and I got too much tanner hehe! Both powders are matte which I love and apply really smoothly. Look very natural if applied with a light touch. This set was a great deal and I also got the face blender brush with it too!! The brush is ok, not great for blush because it comes out chunky but works for blending bronzer and blush together. Overall an ok duo for everyday in the winter times for me! Also I feel this will look awesome on those of you who have fair to light skin tones.

Bourjois smokey eyes eyeshadow trio

This is the smokey eyes trio in 01 gris dandy. I had got this in boots a year ago and finally decided it needed a review lol It says it is the new baked technology and hence why the shadows are dome shaped. To be honest its not the best of palettes to create a smokey eye. It creates a very shimmery chunky smokey eye. I don't know about you guys but I like some matte shades too! The lightest silver shade especially is chalky. The darkest shade is nice. It says its 8 hour wear which it is roughly but I used a primer as always. They have many such trios, I think there is a brownish one, purpley one and maybe a blue one. I bought mine at boots UK. I like the packaging as it is compact and at the back its informative for beginners as it tells you where to put each shade in the trio onto your eyelids. I prefer the single round pot eyeshadows from Bourjois much more.

Single eyeshadows by Benefit

The beige one is called buckle bunny and the blue one is snow job. These powder eyeshadows are top quality, They apply like butter and show up exactly like in the pan. I got these from my mum who had bought them a while back, so I'm not sure if they are available anymore. OK so no jokes, buckle bunny is my favourite all over lid colour since I got it, thanks mum! Its perfect because its just a little darker than my skin tone but has a very finely milled sparkle, almost an iridescence to it. I could wear this everyday if I didn't have others. I didn't like snow job as much because its quite light for me but is a nice starter for darker shades. Same applies to its consistency, silky! The pans are bigger than mac ones which are around 26mm in diameter as mentioned a lot on youtube. These products are much expected from a nice brand like Benefit.

Barry M nail paints

From left to right the shades I have are cobalt blue, blue glitter, bright pink, racing green and raspberry. These retail for £2.95 which is amazing considering they have a huge variety of colours and they are of great quality. They are comparable to higher end brands as they come out very opaque and do not chip easily. Most of the shades I have are matte but the blue glitter and racing green which have glitter/ are iridescent. I am coming to the end of the rasperry nail paint and I have used that colour so much throughout the last year! So yes you get a fair amount of product. Mine is starting to get clumpy now though. Maybe it has reached the end of its shelf life? Anyhow I will continue to purchase these nail paints as in different colours.
