Boots brand....shampoo and conditioners?
I have been trialling these products for a few weeks now....the honey and jojoba shampoo and conditioner and the henna & horsechestnut shampoo. I can say that the honey ones are not so great and perhaps only suitable for washing your makeup brushes since they are quite drying. HOWEVER the shampoo containing henna is a new stable in my shower because gradually over weeks my hair has been tinted the most natural shade of brown everrrr! I love the smell and if you are young and do not wish to die your hair and stress it out etc then this may be a nice one to give a go.
Trying out the new MAXFACTOR mini nail polishes...some spring shades!
They have launched this range of polishes not too long ago and I finally decided to go and get myself some...as you all may or may not know painting my nails is my favourite thing to do everrr! The size of these polishes is so cute and perfect since you can finish it all up before it goes lumpy and wastes. The first shade above is 08 Diva violet. I got it because its a girly pink/lilac colour and I wanted to try and replace my eyeko lilac polish which is my fave polish of all time....but sadly this colour does not beat the eyeko polish but is still nice. I guess I will just have to buy more back ups for the eyeko lilac polish! The next shade is a golden sheer tone colour called 01 Ivory. Hmm I am not sure why its called ivory because its more goldy lol but yes none the less a nice shimmery shade. Finally the third shade is 05 Sunny pink....and this is my absolute favourite!! It is a fine pearly pink with gold and violet iridescence.....soooo pretty for spring 2011! Overall quality of these polishes is good and they don't tend to chip easily especially the ones with shimmers in em...so yeh enjoyy :)
COSMOPOLITAN beauty experts blend perfefction sponge
So finally a version of the famous beauty blender sponge and sonia kashuk sponge from the USA is now available at superdrug!! Talk about convenience....I have been thinking of ordering the US version of the beauty blender off ebay for a while now but have always felt its quite pricey due to postage etc. So when I saw this is just had to purchase it :) Its a cute hot pink super super soft and bouncy sponge for application of any creamy face products. I have been using it for the past week and let me tell you its really worth it because if you try and buy a face brush for £5 its very difficult to find a decent soft one of the correct shape, this sponge is the best alternative to me! The reason why I like it the most for day to day use is because it gives a very sheer coverage of the product on my face so I am technically wearing the minimum amount of makeup, no cakeyness! I use a cream to powder foundation...MAC studio tech just to let ya guys know.
