MAC pro brush belt

So I ordered this product from ebay and it took me so long to find a genuine seller that was power rated! But I did and so I got my hands on it. You have probably seen this on the MAC pro website if at all. It is made of a faux leather like material and has tons and tons of compartments even for those of us who may be hoarding quite a lot of brushes. Small palettes like the urban decay deluxe palette can also fit! The waist belt is adjustable. Each brush slot is pretty big so many small eye brushes can be slotted in each. I have just filled it up randomly so you guys can see what it would look like. This is a pricey product so if you are not willing to shell out yet then the ELF makeup artists brush belt is a cheaper alternative on eyeslipsface.co.uk. Also another great alternative could be the Fraulein cosmetics brush belt which is available at fraulein38.com. Check them out too!!

Sleek Pout polish

This is my first sleek pout polish and is in the shade perfect plum. It is a tinted lip conditioner with SPF and let me tell you this is the best lip product I have tried to date!!! Its so so creamy and moisturising and the shade is  stunning. It smells cool like almost tropical or coconut like. It is far better than the MAC tendertones in my opinion. I apply it with a lip brush and it defines the lips. Of course you can also just use your fingers too! I will definitely be repurchasing and as a matter of fact getting some of the other shades.

New train case!

I had ordered it a while back from amazon uk but never actually got round to reviewing it hehe! But here it is in all its glory! The seller was called worldofscissors so go check them out they do a fantastic range of sturdy and funky designed train cases. They are called the elegant solingen beauty boxes. Mine was around £40 and well worth the quality. As you can probably tell I have it in pink but they have black and silver too as well as animal prints. This train case is useful as their are cantilever trays on each side and the sections can be repositioned to how you may need them. This is great for lets say longer lipglosses etc. I will be using it to store all the cosmetics I am going to take with me for my year at university! Very handy because last year I remember stuffing make up in small pouches everywhere. Anyhow this is made of sturdy aluminium and comes with a nifty lock in case you want to keep something like jewellery in there safe. The size is quite large and the bottom should fit large coastal scents palettes or hair tools etc. I think my mum may want one too!

Manly 120 pro palette

I purchased this product from ebay uk and its from the brand Manly which has been raved about a lot on youtube. I decided to test it myself! You can also get it from beautiesfactory.  It came from Hong Kong in perfect condition as all eyeshadows were intact due to numerous layers of bubble wrap. The seller was great….check them out their ebay name is topfashion-79. They also sent a free brush as a gift. The brush was not good. However the eyeshadows were beautiful. There are matte, shimmery and pearly textures. So many colours to choose from as well. So the first tray had 60 shadows and second tray also 60!! The size of the whole palette was smaller than I thought, so a handy little kit for anyone. The shadows stay on a whole day provided a good eyeshadow primer is used. I used the good old UDPP (urban decay primer potion). There are some shades I have gotten a whole lot of use of, they include the neutrals, purple shades and white/beige shades. Also for my own reference I have added cool creative names to them and stuck it on the top lid, I did that so I could keep a log of which colours go well together for future use. This is a fun way of personalizing a palette that has no named shadows! I would recommend this palette and seller to you guys! I shall add some pictures of swatches of my favourite shades when I have used it a while longer.

Smiths Rosebud salve

I purchased this product from sephora after I had tried a friend’s one. I loved it as soon as I did and so had to go out and buy one. I live in the UK so was difficult to locate this brand, in the USA its quite popular though. Recently I have found that it is also available on ASOS.com which is a UK website. They are not pricey and serve as a moisturising salve. I mainly have used this on my lips before going to bed but you can also use it where ever else you may have rough skin. It has a pleasent smell, floral/rosy as described. It is not too over whelming so no worries there.  It serves as a great base under lipsticks too as sometimes lipsticks can be a little drying. If you are struggling to find this product a good dupe would be the Vaseline in the rose variety.
