New but old......

So here's a book for you guys....Eye candy by Linda Mason. This is a lovely one to start off with since it demonstrates everything from basic to exotic eye looks without going too jazzy. The colours are beautiful and I would say especially compliment young girls...enjoy....

February 2011 top 10 fave products....

So I decided from now on every month I would corner down 10 products that I absolutely loved and used the heart out of! Enjoy....and hopefully it may give you ideas on products to perhaps try out for yourselves :)

Elf eyelash curlers - very inexpensive and to be honest I never really thought I needed eyelash curlers but they really do make a difference girls!

Bare escentuals lipstick in rose crepe - the perfect berry red shade that goes on sheer and natural perfect !

Natural collection lash build mascara in black - ok so this was a total surprise cos its a dupe for the estee lauder one I was using!! For so cheappp! Please please try it out if you guys need curly lashes asap hehe

L'occitane blush like a peony lip and cheek tinted water - light, smells pretty and does the job as a coral/pink blush paired with a golden toned highlight! Also great for the lips.

Maxfactor mini nail polish in diva violet 08 - my favourite colour family of varnishes is pinks and lilacs :)

Fraulein angled blush brush - never liked this that much when I first got it but now its even better in my opinion than my mac 168 brush, especially for contouring and using bronzers

QVS duo fibre brush - nice feathered out brush, I use it to apply my nivea creme noted below! RAVE combo!

Nivea creme - ok so a great cheap dupe for oilatum face repair cream...even though thats not too pricey either but this does the same trick for me plus it smells amazing.

Too faced fun in the dark palette - eyeshadows in pin up and peep shows - great neutral pink for a wash all over the lid and beige for brow bone highlight. My everyday for FEB...

Mac eyeshadow in stars 'n' rockets - my first mac shadow but the best one I think....pretty and very seasonal for spring. Classic.

Avon...Far away perfume

I decided to try this scent because I had heard someone raving about it on youtube, and yup they were right!! Its a weird yet nice smell. I ordered it online from the avon website and it was on sale at the time for £7 !!!!!! People were right also in that its not fruity or floral or musky its unique....yes it is exotic and oriental and by that I don't mean it smells like a chinese takeaway lol but instead a delicate smell of the culture........ok so you are probably thinking well that was not helpful but basically it reminds me of the far east in a natural scenic kind of way sigh....please try it cos its fab!!!

MAC ladybug lipstick

My mom gave me this lipstick and it is literally the most adorable red I have ever seen. When applied it gives this luminous glow that I can't even describe !! Its super smooth and reminds me of a mexican sunset.....divinee need I say more!

Some great budget travel essentials from boots!

I bought these items a few weeks ago as just general staples in terms of travel. I travel back and forth from university to home every 6-7 weeks so just thought I needed to buy a cosmetic hold all bag and a travel mirror for use on the go.

The case is just a simple plastic clear rectangular shape and to me clear is great because it means I can see what items are at the bottom and where exactly. Easier to reach to! Its an awesome size too because it even fits my full size elnette hairspray in it too :) When I bought it from boots it was £8 and only because it came with a ton of  other travel essentials in it....a pouffa sponge, empty storage containers and bottles so you can take travel sized versions of your shampoos etc !

Anddd the mirror was just a cute patterned large mirror I saw in the make up brushes section and I thought I just really needed one for doing my eyebrows and applying eyeshadows etc. Its really slim and compact so I can just slip it into my bag before I go classes in the morning....it was £4 something I thinkk...cute dealioo
