Review : Nuxe Huile prodigieuse

I have really enjoyed using this Product it makes my hair soft and manageable without weighing it down and making it look greasy...an unappealing look we all try hard to avoid haha I received the sample size version in a glossy box and it's lasted me ages and I've barely made a dent in it. It is an oil meant for face body or hair, I particularly recommend it for your legs it leaves them soft, smelling good and with that hint of golden shimmer! I have seen the full size available in spaceynk which is a delight since its relatively easy to access in the uk or online. Recommended !

Review: Oliva pure olive oil soap

This was purchased at a local health food store and has turned out to be a great facial soap for my dry skin. Most soap bars strip moisture from my skin, however this left my skin strangely soft! It has a clean yet olive like scent and the downside is that it does sting your eyes and so cannot be used as eye make up remover. I keep it in my shower caddy and use it in the morning to cleanse my face. I wish this soap came in a liquid form, it would be easier to travel with. Packaging was cute and simple, not the most eye catching but got the message across.

Review: Celestial Crowns shower caps

I received these shower caps or shall I say brilliant shower 'crowns' to review, and was absolutely thrilled with the idea that shower caps could be made in larger sizes for those of us wanting to preserve hair style or have thicker longer hair. To me a very simple yet innovative concept. 

Now, they do come in different sizes and I got the opportunity to try medium, large and extra large. Let me tell you something the size of them all is impressive ! On the website there are many cute patterns and colours to choose from within the range of different sizes from small to XL. So depending on what type of hair you have there is something available for everyone. Recently also several new patterns 

The medium sized one here is in the style - Peace N' Love. It features a gorgeous purple organza detailing around the rim! This being the first one I tried out, I thought it was nice and felt secure around my head. However slightly on the smaller side for me because when I style my hair curly I prefer not to squish the style :) It would be good for short to medium length hair, but more on the shorter side. 

This large size is in the style - Please don't worry...Its a simple clear material with a fun smiley face pattern, certainly entertaining in your shower ;P In terms of comfort even though they are all rate highly, this was my favourite since it was slighlty less tight around my head. In terms of sizing, this is the ideal size for me. Not too large and so great for medium to long hair styles!

Finally this extra large size is in my favourite style - Shower up. I ADORE the pattern, its got pictures of brushes and soap on it with a frosted background so it conveys shower time to me perfectly! It also features a lovely mint green organza trim and let me tell you this is by the most fun one to wear because I just cannot describe how extravagantly large the size is!!!! Its perfect for those gals with luscious thick long hair. A neat feature to note is there is a hanger hook hole which is great for hanging it up in your bathroom and also there is a adjustable snap so you can size it securely around your head, even though its large it won't fall off!

The packaging is unique and thoughtful, as each crown is presented in its own bag with an appropriate label and a cute tag including a nice message.

Review - Bodyshop coconut oil hair shine

I bought this because I heard that coconut oil has very good properties for enhancing the condition of dry hair.   It smells like real coconuts with a creamy scent involved too, I do like this scent and it is quite strong but wears out within a few hours. The texture is like a thick paste that has been pressed so I just scoop a little out between my fingertips and rub until it turns into an oil. I like putting this through my hair at just then ends to help lock in my curls. I would not add this near the roots because it is likely to cause greasyness lol! All in all I like this as a finishing product for curly hair.

Review - Bodyshop banana conditioner

The best part about this product is the scent - its so fruity and even though I don't particularly relish bananas this smell is wonderful! Its like a fruity mix including bananas! Even though the size of the product is not that great you only need a little for it to work. I found that for my hair its particularly good to use once in a while when I have used a lot of styling products, this helps remove all that residue left over after shampoo. I use it after swimming to moisturise my hair since it gets extremely dry after being in the pool for some time. I will continue to love this product for years to come :) Try it out !

Review - Pantene pro-V colour seal concentrate

This is targeted to be a deep conditioning treatment for hair that has been coloured and also to help maintain the colour. I was quite disappointed in that it just felt like a normal conditioner and after I dyed my hair I didn't notice it holding in my colour all that much either. Also it is a very small amount of product that you get, which could be useful for travel but as far as use for medium-long hair it is quite little. Smells nice just like most pantene products but overall I would pass on it in my opinion.

Review - BIO OIL

I bought this product a month ago to see if it could help with the dry skin on my face, and the only thing I can say about it is that this is a product for the first time that has seriously worked for dryness on my face! I don't think I could go a day without it now because it is the perfect base for my moisturiser (bodyshop carrot moisture cream). Also it has majorly helped clear the majority of my acne, this is literally the longest time my skin has been kept clear. I find that I can go ahead and use plenty of different face products and my skin still stays clear. This was a huge plus point because I love trying new products out. Not only that but it reduced the itchyness and hyperpigmentation from previous acne too! It makes foundation glide on a lot easier and gives a dewy finish my fave. If you have very oily skin then perhaps this could only work as a treatment for night times as it can show over excess skin oil. I would definitely definitely recommend this to anyone :)
