A review on the Mario Badescu drying lotion
This product is aimed mainly for use against acne/pimples. Mainly whiteheads. I have only used it on my face so can't really speak for other areas that you may have acne on. I did have a hard time finding this online for delivery from within the UK because amazon was sold out. I eventually did find a company that sells these and it is at www.beautybay.com ! So if you are interested in it check them out. They also have quite a few of the other Mario badescu products as well. The delivery was brilliant and it came a day before expected shipping date.
You get 29ml of the drying lotion so its quite a small bottle but you really only need a little each time. I have used it for a week each night as it does say that it clears up your skin overnight. For me it took around 3-4days before it started to work but has really done a good job. Usually it takes forever to get rid of problem skin!! Ok this is probably going to sound weird but reviews I have seen about this lotion say that it smells not so nice, I was worried it was going to smell really acidic. However it has a nice minty/medicine like smell....haha if you like the tea tree type of scents...which I do. IT SAYS DO NOT SHAKE because this leaves a layer of the salicylic acid at the top and a pink layer of calamine lotion at the bottom. Calamine is a very soothing ingredient while the acidic part deals with the spots. I was using the clean & clear spot treatment before this and in comparison this is far better. It is more costly though. I guess you get what you pay for :)
