May Favourites!

This month was definitely a Bobbi Brown kind of month! I've been loving their BB cream in medium/dark, its light yet provides excellent coverage. All thanks to my mum of course, she passed this and a bunch of other stuff on to me ;)  Thank youuuu if you are reading this !!! Another Bobbi Brown favourite would be the shimmer brick in wild rose, perfect for a pinky flush and glow in one...a lovely all rounder. I have also tried it as a eyeshadow and loved it...reminds me of a mixture of shades from the naked 3 palette ;)

This month I have also seriously been treating my hair to the luscious hair serum by kerastase, yes this is one of the huile ultime ones in a jasmine sort of a scent. Great for dry hair thats thick and unruly as it doesn't add the extra grease factor. I recommend trying it...worth the splurge! In terms of perfumes the Endymion Eau de Cologne is a fresh woody take on all those heavy winter scents. A dear friend/boyfriends sister Venugaa gave it to me as a gift and I'm halfway through this already....absolutely gorgeous :) Thank you!

Lastly some non beauty favourites...I recently went on a trip to Barcelona and was obsessing over their mango collection and bought a lovely floral coat in a coral/mink colour, I thought it would brighten up a simple skinny jean and tee look anyday. AND FINALLY...I got a dogeared necklace...in pearls of love (the gold dipped version), thank you Dharma Bear !! xx

New Lippy!

This is the most luscious matte red you will ever see and it is MAC's Russian Red…
Worth the price and extremely vibrant and true to colour. I am loving wearing this with a flick of black winged eye liner and a nude cheek glow, perfect for the upcoming summer nights!

Coral reinvented!

On a recent shop with my mom, we were looking for some spring skirts and I was on the look out for one that was specifically an orange popsicle shade. Its definitely the new oxblood red ! This lovely quilted A-line mini skirt was from warehouse and to go with it I just couldn't pass up on the new Bobbi Brown Nudes in bloom pot rouge in Calypso Coral. It reminded me of an updated version of the cabocoral pot rouge…which is where this blog originally started from :) Anyways hope you have enjoyed the read xx

Recent Health Store Goodies

On my last trip to my local health food shop I bought some herbamare and some kale chips. For those of you who haven't tried herbamare and are vegan…its a must!! Herbamare is a sea salt seasoning which is infused with herbs and vegetables and hence is delicious in salads, steamed vege's etc instead of salt. It is also a lot lower in sodium than salt. Kale chips were just what I was craving at the time so I got em ;) I have never tried this brand, its called inSpiral. Its rather a small tub but baobab and onion was an interesting flavour so I had to try it. Hopefully its good!

A healthy new start...

So initially I had purchased a juicer which ended in a disastrous leak and basically put me off them altogether. I then decided to go for a traditional smoothie blender and here it is...

This is a Chef Tony T-mix blender which is not an average blender, it is definitely of the industrial category similar to the famous Blendtec & vitamix systems. I recently received this and am so excited to haul it! Check out Chef Tony videos on YouTube for some demonstrations, and recipes/reviews soon to come. Thanks!

The NEW Andean superfruit !

This is yet another fab nutritious additive to any homemade smoothies/juices. Goldenberry also known as physalis fruit is a great source of vitamin A, this juice perfectly captures the flavours of this luscious fruit if you have ever tried it fresh. I came across this a few days ago at Holland & Barrett and since trying it in store I was sold ;) It is pricey so I would recommend either a pure drink once a month or you can stretch the effects by adding a dash to any homemade smoothies. In addition this Terrafertil brand is great as it is gluten and dairy free (suitable for vegans too!). I hope you guys give this a try!!

Origins Ginger essence...

As you can see I have almost finished this amazing fragrance up, it has been my go to scent for the past 2 months and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys zesty scents. The ginger essence is perfect and it almost has a fizzyness to the sweet gingeryness! Layered with the ginger soufflé it was fab for everyday, especially those tiring mornings ;) ttyl xx
